Leah Lovgren
Biography
Leah previously served as the Program Manager for the Long COVID Initiative and was responsible for operationalizing and executing the Initiatives projects. She also served as the Data and Research Methods Core Manager for the The Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) on Opioids and Overdose. She is a staff co-chair for the Epidemiology Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) and also sits on the School of Public Health Staff Advisory Committee.
Prior to joining the team at Brown, Leah served as a Program Manager of the MIT Portugal Program and Assistant Director at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship. Her professional background also includes refugee case management and several years in the Boston-area advertising industry. She graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and received her master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
