Annual Reports
2025-2026
The world faces historic public health challenges as funding cuts erode our ability to prevent, detect, and respond to serious disease threats. Critical research remains underfunded, while political rhetoric continues to undermine public confidence in science and data. A severe measles outbreak further exposes our growing vulnerability to biological threats, largely driven by declining vaccine uptake. In response to these crises, the Pandemic Center is leading efforts to effect positive change in global health and security. We are generating impactful data, advancing innovative policy, and educating the next generation of leaders to confront both predictable and unprecedented biosecurity challenges.
