Johan Enrique Ayala

Biography

Johan Enrique Ayala (he/him/él) is a senior from Union City, NJ, concentrating in Biology in the Cellular and Molecular Biology track. He is a Gates Scholar who intends to work at the intersection of medicine, infectious diseases, and public health, addressing health disparities and promoting equitable healthcare access for underserved populations. Through epidemiological research and community engagement, Johan aims to make a significant impact in combating infectious diseases and improving public health outcomes for marginalized communities.
