Doha Maaty
Doha Maaty is a first-year MPH candidate exploring the impact of laws and policies on SWANA populations' health in the U.S. With a background in global health and justice and peace studies from Georgetown University, she has contributed to research projects globally, including in Jordan, Bangladesh, and South Africa. Doha's previous roles in Muslim-American organizations like the Council on American Islamic Relations and Karamah reflect her additional interest in understanding the impact of laws and policies on the Muslim-American community. Currently at Blue Ridge Impact Consulting, she focuses on sustainability in women's rights, education, health, and civic engagement. At Brown, her research centers on health as a human right and the role of humanitarianism.
