WASHINGTON, DC - June 6, 2024: Yesterday, the American Democracy and Health Security Initiative released urgent recommendations following a major 18-month effort to examine how state and local leaders—governors and mayors; health experts and emergency response officials; community, nonprofit, and faith-based groups; educators; and business leaders—bridged divides across sectors and silos to enable a more effective response to COVID-19.
